[[stuff]]

yesterday's worker's nyt was FUN!

we were in red... representing the joshua team... nakakatawa... the morning pipol were in yellow so they were doing the "laban" hand gesture. and so the pipol in red were doing the "peace sign". for those who arent filipinos, and for those who already forgot their philippine history... during the 1980's cory's party's (laban) color was yellow. and marcos' KBL color was red.

then came cheering time. the morning pipol did a PBB cheer... "dilaw ako dilaw tayo..." ok that was good. we did practice a great cheer. but then, hindi daw kasi makuha ng ibang pipol ung cheer dahil mabilis... so we had to scrap it. ang lousy tuloy nung cheer namin. anyways, ito sana ung maganda naming cheer (to the beat of hey mickey...)

hoy makinig kayo kaming lahat disipulo ng joshua... ng joshua!
kahit anong gawin di nyo kayang patumbahin ang joshua... ang joshua!

oh wel, it was too fast for them... nakakabulol daw... sayang we had formations and everything pa naman...

before that pala was eating time. food was yummy. and they had a few consolation prizes sa raffle. almost lahat ng nanalo ng consolation prize ay sa dilaw... (meaning from morning service).

we had the pining ceremony... our theme for next year kasi is "go MAD (make a disciple) for Jesus"... so we had this super cool pin... kaya pala preferably with collar ang dress code...

ok then we played pot-jeng... this symphony orchestra game. there were 10 pipol each team... so the joshua team was 50% wyldfire! missy, rovin, ate cla, shai, and me. others were mico, nina, aj, and two pipol from the joshua music team (i forgot their names, sorry!). we won of course. hehehe. sayang erika was on the other team... we got this big basket of picnic goodies...

next up was name that tune... shempre panalo na naman ang joshua... andun ba naman ang mga music team people. chin was there and that was an advantage for us for the "pop music" category... i actualy got the last one which was born for you by david pomeranz (isang line lang kse ng lyrics ung clue so medyo mahirap din tlga sha). kaso di ko alam kung pwede mag-coach. hehe... we won naman eh 5-0! yahoo!

then there was pera o bayong. haha. ok, so i won. and now i have a new mini component/dvd player. cool. i really wasnt expecting to win kse may mga bible questions kaya na ang hirap. hehe. nways, so shempre nung una, ang dami pang kasali. one category was "about the philippines"... disadvantage naman un kina rovin and shai kse di naman sila nag-philippine history eh. nways, ang unang question na nakapag-eliminate ng madaming tao ay "sino ang pinakamayaman na tao sa mundo?" some thought it was the sultan of brunei but yeah, its bill gates. next was "what was the name of judas' father?" shempre di ko alam un pero since nag-stick together ang mga natitira sa joshua, and well, nandun pa sina tito matt... kuha pa rin namin un... and yeah, the answer was simon. then since they were running out of time, they said first four na lang na tama from each team (yellow and red) ang kukunin. a group of owls is called.... a parliament. so i entered the semis with tito rene, tito matt, and ate sarah. all from the joshua music team!

so 4 people from joshua, 4 from the morning service. first 2 from each team to score 5 points move on to the next round... so kme ni tito matt ang natira... and sa morning it was gabby and... oops, di ko kilala. hehe. then race to 5 na tlga... nakakatawa kse ang daming sayang na questions... ok, so im not a star wars fan... ano ang subtitle ng episode 1 ng star wars? haha. walang nakakuha saming apat. tapos sobrang nanghihinayang ung audience kse shempre ang dmai sa kanila ang may alam. tapos "leron leron sinta, buko ng papaya, dala dala'y _____" shempre di ko pa talaga nakuha yun... nyahahaha. ewan ko ba bakit. hehe. tapos may qstn pa, ilan ang steps dun sa church sa lavander... uh, how was i supposed to know? hehe... so tito matt had an edge when he was able to answer bible questions na di namin alam hehe... then i was able to tie kse alam kong si roxas ang nasa 100 peso bill hehe. di na kse siguro nakakakita ng peso bills ang mga kasama ko... puro si yusof ishak na lang ang nakikita nila sa pera...

so tie kme ni tito matt... and so na eliminate na sina gabby so joshua na lang natira... and of course there were chants of jo-shua! jo-shua! jo-shua! hehe... kse undefeated kme sa lahat ng games (haha 3 lang naman kse). so i was like, not a difficult bible question pls... kse alam ko talong talo na ko kay tito matt hehe. so it was sports. sana basketball sana basketball. nyek, football question. hindi rin ako actually sure sa sagot... but it was a simple process of elimination... hindi naman makakapasok ng finals against brazil ang korea, turkey, and some other country eh... germany was the logical choice. and so i won! yey!

tita me-ann won the grand prize for the raffle... flat screen tv!

so i forced to ride a cab on the way back... i booked one and the taxi came when this guy just went inside the taxi. basta ang gulo, ayaw nya pa bumaba... thanks to tito perry and everyone who was there who helped. eventually i was able to go back to NUS naman.

yun lang.

and yeah, tapos na ang winning streak ng pistons. ok lang, 8-1 naman kme. still number 1. and dallas ung nakatalo sa amin, ok lang... basta wag heat, rockets, lakers, 76ers, and lalung lalo na ang knicks! matalo na kme kahit sa atlanta wag lang sa knicks. nyahahaha.
